「ぶどうの森」ブランドの40周年を記念して始まった森をつくるプロジェクト。レストラン・チャペルから出て農園まで続く森の散策路を計画した。針葉樹と緑の丘に囲まれた広場の中央に設けられた水盤は水鏡として日々の田園風景を映し出す。農家の働く姿も、子供たちのかけっこも、渡り鳥の飛来も、あの人のハレの日も。クスノキの大木が広場に木陰を落として集いの場をつくり、オガタマやタイサンボクがガーデンウェディングに控えめな白い花を添える。移り変わる田畑の景色の中で変わらずそこにある森「Le bois」は鎮守の杜としてこの土地を見守り続ける。
This forest-making project was launched to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the “Budō no Mori” brand. A woodland path was designed to connect the restaurant and chapel to the adjacent farm. At the center of a clearing surrounded by conifer trees and grassy hills, a reflective water basin mirrors the daily rural scenery—farmers at work, children racing across the field, migrating birds overhead, and moments of personal celebration.
A large camphor tree casts its shade over the plaza, creating a gathering space, while Michelia compressa (ogatama) and southern magnolia offer modest white blossoms, quietly accompanying garden weddings. Amid the changing fields and farmland, the forest—Le bois—remains a constant presence, watching over the land like a chinju no mori, a sacred grove rooted in local tradition.
