住宅街の四方を建物に囲まれた中庭。弊社のオリジナルプロダクトamuamuを用い、人が腰掛けるベンチと木が植えられるプランターを同仕様とすることで互いの距離感を縮めることを目指した。庭の素材として馴染み易い麻紐と棕櫚縄に人工繊維の色味が軽やかさを加える。陰翳ある焼杉の木塀を背景とすることで草木一本一本の美しさが際立つ。植栽地と砂利敷を麻紐で編み込んだ鎖が見切り、空間全体を緩やかに繋ぐ。
This courtyard is located in a residential area and is enclosed on all four sides by surrounding buildings. Our original product amuamu was used to create both benches for seating and planters for trees in the same design, aiming to foster a sense of closeness among users. The use of familiar materials such as hemp twine and shuro (palm) rope, combined with the soft tones of synthetic fibers, adds a sense of lightness to the garden. The charred cedar wood fence in the background, with its play of light and shadow, enhances the beauty of each individual plant. A softly woven boundary chain made of hemp rope separates the planted areas from the gravel, gently connecting the entire space.
